Comfort Zone consists of concrete chairs and side tables embedded with shattered glass, referencing the improvised security barriers commonly found along walls and fences in Mexico. The familiar furniture arrangement appears to invite rest and conversation, yet its surfaces make sitting impossible. Through this contradiction, the work transforms domestic comfort into a form of defense
